Our objective is clear: to become Brazil’s best mining company — and we know this is possible only by investing in the people who build this future with us, every day. **Do you identify with this?** We are seeking a professional to serve as an **Occupational Safety Technician II**, responsible for promoting a safety culture and operational excellence. **Work Location: Nova Xavantina – MT** **Employment Model:** Permanent, CLT | On-site **Management:** Health and Safety Management (for internal use) **Grow with us!** #WeAreERO #JoinOurTeam #Opportunity **Responsibilities and Duties** **Responsibilities and Duties:** * Conduct Daily Safety Dialogues to inform employees about risks; * Perform safety inspections across areas to verify compliance; * Train and retrain employees on internal operational norms and procedures to meet internal requirements; * Participate in accident investigations, assisting in identifying root causes; * Conduct safety inspections of all unit equipment to verify operational readiness; * Conduct field audits to verify proper completion of ART and PT documents; * Conduct internal audits of training delivered to NP’s and PO’s to verify compliance; * Monitor high-risk operational activities (e.g., working at heights, load suspension, high-voltage work, etc.) to ensure adherence to internal standards; * Respond to emergencies across departments and coordinate fire brigade activities—including task assignment—to ensure efficient response; * Assess general signage needs and oversee subsequent installation to improve employee guidance and awareness; * Identify fire extinguisher requirements per area and arrange placement to comply with legislation; * Attend meetings with occupational safety technicians from third-party companies to ensure compliance with internal standards; * Manage and prepare all documentation required for INMETRO certification of the fire extinguisher workshop to meet legal requirements; * Maintain all statutory occupational safety documentation (PGR/GRO, PCA, PPR, LTCAT) to comply with current legislation; * Manage maintenance of occupational hygiene equipment, monitoring calibration expiry dates and arranging external verification as needed; * Monitor all occupational hygiene activities conducted, ensuring employee health and compliance with social security and MTE regulations; * Perform other duties inherent to the area. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Prerequisites and Qualifications:** * Technical Course in Occupational Safety; * Active professional registration; * Driver’s License “B”; * Intermediate Microsoft Office proficiency; * Experience delivering sector-specific occupational safety training for mining-related activities; * Knowledge of safety processes; * Familiarity with Occupational Hygiene is desirable; **Additional Information** **Benefits:** * Competitive salary * Profit Sharing Plan (PLR) * Private Pension Plan * Health Insurance * Dental Insurance * Life Insurance * On-site meals (at units) * Meal Voucher (at offices) * Food Allowance * Transportation * Quality of Life Program * Gympass – Wellhub * Extended Maternity and Paternity Leave (Citizen Company) * Club Membership Agreement — may vary by location * Eyeglasses Purchase Assistance for family members #### **We are ERO, one of Brazil’s leading copper and gold producers.** **We belong to a global group headquartered in Canada, with a strong presence in Brazil.
