Handle deviations and non-conformities within the maintenance department. Support scheduling of subordinates’ vacation time. Monitor proper use of tools/uniforms and PPE by subordinates. Control absenteeism among subordinates. Identify professional training needs, propose, and deliver training sessions. Support defining equipment specifications and maintainability, validating spare parts lists and operational warranty items, participating in commissioning activities, etc. Promote technical updates, maintenance systems, and other relevant topics for the maintenance team (maintenance technicians). Identify and implement opportunities for autonomous maintenance activities. Keep the team motivated and pursue departmental goals. Define department-specific goals and achieve targets cascaded from management.
