Job Summary: Metrô BH is seeking an Occupational Safety Engineer specializing in electrical systems to manage safety during energization and de-energization procedures, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. Develop Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) energy isolation procedures **Metrô BH, one of the companies within Grupo Comporte, operates the metro-rail public transportation system covering the municipalities of Contagem and Belo Horizonte, located in the state of Minas Gerais.** **We currently have an opportunity for an Occupational Safety Engineer \| Electrical to join the Occupational Safety Department.** **If you meet the requirements for this opportunity, please apply and share it with your professional network.** **Our job openings are inclusive.** **\#grupocomporte \#metrobh \#oportunidades** **Responsibilities and Duties** * Manage safety during energization and de-energization procedures for traction systems (Overhead Catenary or Third Rail); * Supervise the application of Temporary Grounding for permanent way installations, ensuring the section is electrically safe before team entry; * Define and monitor safety zones (Free Zone, Risk Zone, and Controlled Zone) for work near live lines; * Monitor and audit the Electrical Installation Logbook (PIE), specifically adapted for metro-railway environments; * Develop work instructions for Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) in Traction and Auxiliary Substations; * Ensure strict compliance with NR\-10 (Electrical Safety Rules) and NR\-35 (Work at Heights \- focused on catenary and pantograph installation); * Validate Work Permits (PT) involving scheduled power shutdowns, ensuring clear communication with Systems and CCO teams; * Investigate incidents involving electric arc, electric shock, or insulation failures in signaling and telecommunications systems that may pose risks; * Map specific NR\-33 (Confined Spaces) hazards in underground cable galleries and metro tunnels, if work in these locations becomes necessary; * Inspect safety protection and warning systems along the track (e.g., high-voltage warning signs, third rail protection). **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; * Specialization in Occupational Safety; * Active CREA registration; * Experience in the railway sector working with electrical systems, or with companies specialized in electrical systems. **Additional Information** * **Benefits for the employee** **Medical and dental reimbursement;** **Childcare allowance;** **Gympass (app for physical, mental, emotional, and financial wellness);** **Life insurance;** **Meal voucher and/or food allowance;** **Transportation voucher.** * **Benefits for dependents** **Medical and dental reimbursement;** **Support for children with disabilities;** **Gympass (app for physical, mental, emotional, and financial wellness).** **We are one of the companies within Grupo Comporte, operating the metro-rail public transportation system covering the municipalities of Contagem and Belo Horizonte, located in the state of Minas Gerais.** **Here, we offer merit-based opportunities and care for our employees by fostering a positive organizational climate, which translates into excellent service for our users.
