Job Summary: The professional will be responsible for the ongoing support and continuous improvement of databases, including design, installation, configuration, monitoring, and security. Creation of automation scripts, reports, and documentation. **Database Job Profile** Database support and continuous improvement services encompass activities such as design, creation, installation, configuration, parameterization, support, tuning, security, support, maintenance, and monitoring of databases in physical, virtualized, hybrid, or cloud environments, including support for data provisioning/delivery to generate informational dashboards. **Experience** \- Respond to Level 3 incidents related to the candidate’s area of expertise; \- Prepare reports on the database environment, including error reports, performance reports, and activity reports; \- Develop and review operational, managerial, and performance-related documents; \- Install software of low, medium, and high complexity; \- Manage Microsoft Integration Services; \- Manage clustered databases; \- Monitor availability of DBMSs and services dependent on their proper operation; \- Support technological migrations, new installations, and other demands together with the responsible internal team or third-party companies; \- Analyze and identify fixes for failures, errors, and alerts; \- Identify and report technological updates and patches; \- Apply authorized corrections approved by the contract supervisor; \- Create automation and server monitoring scripts; \- Administer resource usage on database servers; \- Perform data export/import as requested by the contract supervisor or contract manager; \- Create users and groups and administer access profiles; \- Create and execute custom queries upon request; \- Create/update data models; \- Create/update Entity-Relationship Models (ERMs); \- Install, configure, and maintain databases; \- Establish backup and restore routines for data; \- Perform database backup and restore as requested by the CONTRACTOR; \- Maintain high availability HA/DR (SQL Server Always On); \- Perform Performance Tuning; \- Execute all database-related projects as requested; \- Develop technical procedures and disseminate knowledge; \- Add and update information in the Knowledge Base; \- Create and update the Knowledge Base covering all database-related activities and projects; \- Prepare database-related manuals whenever requested by the contract supervision team; \- All the above-listed activities must be performed both in the CONTRACTOR’s internal environment and in cloud environments. **Minimum Qualifications and Certifications** A bachelor’s degree in any Information Technology field from an institution of higher education recognized by the Ministry of Education, OR a bachelor’s degree in any field accompanied by a certificate of completion of a postgraduate specialization program in Information Technology with a minimum duration of 360 classroom hours. \- Minimum of 3 (three) years’ experience administering MS SQL Server (version 2012 or later); \- Experience operating PostgreSQL (version 8 or later) and MySQL (version 5.3 or later); \- Basic knowledge of Oracle database operations and Windows and Linux operating systems; \- Experience using ODI features and ETL tools, Integration Services, Visual Studio, SQL Server, and Power BI; \- Intermediate English proficiency sufficient to understand instruction manuals, command execution scripts, scripts, and FAQs; \- ITIL® v4 certification required; \- Microsoft MCSA SQL Server or equivalent (DP-300: Microsoft Azure Database Administrator Associate); \- Microsoft MCSE SQL Server or equivalent certification is desirable.
