Forging industry company hiring Laboratory Assistant in Santa Luzia (Vila Iris). Aço Forja specializes in the production and sale of forged steel products. The company serves various sectors, offering customized solutions to meet their needs. **What will you do in this role?:** Assist in preparing test specimens for mechanical testing (machining, sanding, cleaning). Support the execution of hardness tests (Rockwell, Brinell), tensile tests, bending tests, and impact tests. Perform dimensional measurements using calipers, micrometers, and profile projectors. Prepare basic chemical solutions (metallographic etchants) under technical supervision. Organize and clean workbenches, equipment, and glassware after use, ensuring biosafety. Archive test reports and record results in internal systems. Maintain control over laboratory reagent, gas, and supply inventories. Strictly comply with safety regulations (PPE, handling of chemicals, waste disposal).
