If you want to be empowered to empower others, join Impulso and build a legacy of transformation with us! **Responsibilities and Duties** * **Planning and implementation of the school menu**: Design balanced and appropriate menus, considering age groups, nutritional needs, and guidelines from the National School Feeding Program (PNAE). * **Monitoring meal preparation and distribution**: Ensure foods are prepared and served according to hygiene and food safety standards. * **Food quality control**: Supervise food procurement, storage, and expiration dates, ensuring compliance with established standards. * **Food and nutrition education**: Develop food and nutrition education initiatives and projects to promote healthy eating habits among students, teachers, and the broader school community. * **Accommodating dietary restrictions**: Identify and address the needs of students with specific dietary restrictions, such as allergies, intolerances, or health conditions requiring special diets. * **Team training**: Train cafeteria staff and other personnel involved in food preparation and handling on good practices for food manipulation, hygiene, and meal preparation. * **PNAE monitoring**: Ensure compliance with PNAE guidelines, including promoting consumption of regional and organic foods when possible. * **Nutritional assessment and monitoring**: Monitor students' nutritional status, identifying cases of malnutrition, obesity, or other diet-related issues. * **Reporting and documentation**: Prepare periodic reports on activity implementation and provide accountability regarding the use of resources allocated to school feeding. * **Interaction with the school community**: Participate in school meetings and events, collaborating with administrators, parents, and teachers to improve the quality of meals provided. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed undergraduate degree in Nutrition * Prior experience in schools is a plus * Active and registered CRN (Regional Nutrition Council) in the state of Paraná We believe schools are places of transformation and that, together, we can advance Brazilian public education.
