Operation of forklifts for material handling **Job Description:** ---------------------- We have an open opportunity for a Warehouse Assistant. Main responsibilities: Perform general warehouse duties, including receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming materials; receiving, inspecting, and storing materials from suppliers and the company; managing invoices and material receipts; performing periodic inventory and product expiry date checks (FIFO); picking and delivering materials to requesting departments upon requisition; recording material consumption in the system; supporting procurement requests; managing equipment dispatch for repairs; receiving and delivering flammable materials; refueling tractors and forklifts as needed; sorting and organizing materials in stock, possibly using forklifts; supporting material collection from local suppliers; assisting in physical inventory counts. **Mandatory Requirements:** ------------------------------ Completed high school education. Proven experience in the field. Driver's License: Category B Forklift Operator Certification. **Desirable Requirements:** -------------------------- Basic knowledge of safety procedures for handling flammable materials.
