Does this opportunity resonate with you? **Responsibilities and Duties** * Identify inconsistencies, bottlenecks, and operational risks, proposing structural process improvements and automation opportunities—including advanced technologies such as AI; * Lead negotiations and technical discussions with health insurance providers to resolve outstanding issues, address discrepancies, and recover pending amounts; * Analyze internal issues affecting invoice submission to insurers, such as errors in fee schedule registrations, patient registration mismatches, and missing information compromising billing quality; * Monitor hospital invoice quality, evaluating potential financial losses, claim denials, and opportunities to optimize average billing value through technical analysis and preventive actions; * Conduct internal audits to ensure invoices comply with contracts, reference fee schedules, and ANS regulations—reducing claim denials and ensuring billing accuracy; * Analyze items excluded from invoices, classifying exclusion types, identifying patterns per insurer, and measuring the financial impact of these losses on the hospital; * Deliver training and provide technical support to the billing assistants team, guiding them on contractual rules, reference fee schedules, quality practices, and updates to ANS regulations; * Develop management reports and dashboards (BI), monitoring trends, tracking KPIs, and proposing action plans aligned with sector-wide continuous improvement; * Implement and monitor departmental KPIs: * Monthly billing volume, billing cycle time / number of invoices (overall and per employee), average billing value, % of invoices billed within the applicable period and cumulative (avatar), inconsistency indicators across departments (registration errors, missing information, overdue invoices, errors in submissions to insurers, excluded items / exclusion types per insurer), among others; * Perform predictive analyses, weekly billing projections, and billing trend studies; * Report billing status during daily and monthly meetings; * Participate in strategic and operational meetings whenever required. * Provide support to Junior/Intermediate Analysts and management—including vacation coverage and assistance with specific tasks as needed. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Economics, Accounting, or related fields. * Postgraduate degree or MBA in Finance, Controllership, or Hospital Management is considered an advantage. * Minimum 3 years’ experience in billing within hospital institutions; * Solid experience handling billing for inpatient admissions, emergency care, SADT (Diagnostic and Therapeutic Support Services), and physician fees. **Additional Information** **What You’ll Find Here:** * Unimed Health Plan: With co-payment, providing medical coverage and access to a high-quality network of accredited providers * OdontoPrev Dental Plan: Nationwide coverage, with monthly premiums deducted from payroll * Education Incentive Program: Valuing employees’ professional and personal development, offering incentives for specialization, extension courses, language learning, and postgraduate studies at PUCPR * Meal Voucher * Meals at Bistrô Marista: On-site meals provided on workdays, with a symbolic payroll deduction * Quality of Life Program * Private Pension Plan * Life Insurance * Commuter Pass * Wellhub (formerly Gympass): Access to numerous gyms with monthly membership fees deducted from payroll * Zenklub: Access to telehealth sessions with mental health specialists, including two complimentary monthly consultations * “Conte Comigo” Program: Multidisciplinary team available for social support, legal guidance (excluding labor-related matters), financial and retirement consulting * Benefits Club: Partnerships with companies across various sectors, offering special discounts on services and products **Salary:** Our salary proposal is built based on multiple factors.
