Our mission is to advance the frontiers of data and AI technologies to generate sustainable and ethical value for business units. Work model: Hybrid – 1 day onsite Unit: Curitiba – PR **What will your day-to-day look like?** As a Data Engineer II, you will work within the Data Engineering Management team, with the following key responsibilities: * Develop end-to-end data pipelines in Databricks using Python, PySpark, and SQL—ensuring efficiency, quality, and alignment with the analytical needs of the Wholesale Commercial Area. * Build data products and structured layers supporting use cases for recommendation, prospecting, pricing, and lead prioritization—ensuring technical consistency and business value. * Participate in squad rituals and dynamics, collaborating directly with the Tech Lead and developers from the Commercial Area in defining, refining, and implementing solutions. * Support the evolution of the area’s cloud architecture by contributing to the migration of currently on-premise processes to the Databricks environment—considering best practices, performance, and security. * Interact with areas such as Product, Credit, Registration, and Product Owners (POs) to understand assumptions, rules, and data flows—ensuring built structures accurately reflect business needs. * Document processes, standardize routines, and ensure governance, quality, versioning, and traceability of developed solutions according to ID standards. **Requirements and Qualifications** What do you need to have or know? * Completed undergraduate degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or related fields. * Intermediate-level experience with Databricks—including pipeline development, notebook usage, workflows, and data engineering best practices. * Hands-on experience with Python, PySpark, and SQL—capable of developing robust transformations, handling large-scale data, and optimizing process performance. * Knowledge of cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP), including understanding of architecture, configurations, and integrations required for pipeline execution. * Knowledge and practical experience with Git and code versioning (branches, pull requests, code reviews, and integration best practices). * Ability to work autonomously, conducting analyses, development, and end-to-end deliveries. * Skill to interact with business areas and cross-functional teams—understanding assumptions and rules to translate them into data engineering solutions.
