Assume operational excellence **◾ Responsibilities/Mission**: * Deliver reliable, secure, observable, and scalable services—and take ownership of them in production. * You will: Design and implement backend services/APIs with a focus on simplicity and ease of maintenance. * Work effectively with SQL and NoSQL databases, selecting the appropriate data model and storage technology for each problem. * Build automated tests (unit, integration, e2e), prepare for CI/CD, and apply safe rollout practices. * Assume operational excellence: logging/metrics/tracing, alerting, on-call support (when required), and post-incident improvements. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Ability to make pragmatic architectural decisions and deliver in small, continuous increments. * Proactive approach to reducing manual bottlenecks through automation. * Business focus: ability to align technical decisions with the company’s strategic needs and goals. * Testing culture: commitment to incorporating automated tests (unit, integration, e2e) as an essential part of the development process. * Excellent English proficiency and proven experience working with U.S.-based companies. * The company aims to expand its team in Curitiba; therefore, we seek candidates from this region. **Desirable** * Prior experience in the healthcare domain is a plus. * Python experience is preferred for this role (not mandatory; other technologies are evaluated).
