Collect dirty laundry from departments, placing it in appropriate carts (open/closed departments) and transporting it to the soiled area for washing, drying, and ironing; 2\. Remove clothes from the washing machine, sorting items by type and color, and placing them in buckets to be sent for drying; 3\. Remove clean clothes from carts, sorting them by type and placing them in the dryer, to subsequently be dried, ironed, stored in the linen room, or delivered to departments; 4\. Dry garments, bed linens, table linens, and other similar items using a mechanical process, manually activating controls to start the machine and programming the drying time according to item type and quantity, prior to sending them to the calender for ironing; 5\. Remove clothes from the dryer, examining their condition and type, inspecting them, and deciding whether they require mending, hand-ironing, machine-ironing, or direct folding and storage; 6\. Prepare items for ironing by placing them on a padded table to ensure they meet required conditions for ironing; 7\. Iron clothes using appropriate equipment (calender), controlling its temperature to ensure reusability and prevent damage; 8\. Smooth items unsuitable for machine ironing using a heated iron set at the appropriate temperature to remove wrinkles and enable use; 9\. Select and sort items by department, folding and storing them in the linen room to fulfill departmental requests for clothing and other articles; 10\. Restock departments three or four times daily, loading clothes onto carts and delivering them to designated storage locations for immediate availability; 11\. Program and monitor the exact drying time required for each load of laundry; 12\. Prevent damaged clothes from leaving the laundry area; 13\.
