Description

Job Summary: A professional responsible for hydraulic and water system maintenance activities, including inspections, service disconnections, reconnections, standardization, installation and replacement of water meters, and leak repairs. Key Highlights: 1. Performing hydraulic services and maintenance of water supply networks. 2. Installing and replacing water meters. 3. Driving vehicles and complying with safety regulations. Perform tasks under frequent supervision; Conduct inspections of water connections; Carry out disconnections of water connections; Carry out reconnections of water connections; Standardize meter stands and service lines; Paint water connections and apply asphaltic resurfacing; Remove irregularities (service lines and meter stands) and complete incident reports and building inspection reports; Install shut-off valves; Install and replace water meters; Remove water meters for meter calibration; Perform hydraulic services related to water leaks in transmission mains, distribution networks, service lines, valves, and meter stands; Carry out water supply system installation; Provide water supply services; Perform cutting, trench excavation, soil compaction, and site cleanup; Open and close valves and carry out flushing of water distribution networks; Inspect visible abnormalities in water quality within the distribution network; Assist in reservoir cleaning; Measure water distribution network pressure and meter readings; Maintain work equipment in perfect operational and clean condition; Comply with company standards and procedures applicable to the area of operation; Drive vehicles used for work efficiently and safely; Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and properly use personal and collective protective equipment; Commit to the areas of Quality Management, Environment, and Occupational Safety; Perform other related tasks as assigned by the organization, per instructions from the immediate supervisor.
