**Responsibilities and duties**
* Plan, coordinate, and monitor the **Annual Audit Plan**, based on risk (corporate processes, operational units, IT, finance/accounting, procurement, commercial, logistics, production, and other relevant areas);
* Conduct end-to-end audits: **scope definition, test programs, interviews, walkthroughs, design and operational effectiveness testing**, evidence analysis, assessment of root causes and impacts;
* Evaluate and monitor **internal controls** (including key controls and controls over financial reporting, where applicable), propose improvements, and track action plans;
* Issue clear, executive-level reports containing **findings, risk classification, recommendations, and deadlines**, ensuring traceability and quality of evidence;
* Perform structured **follow-up** on recommendations, validating implementation and effectiveness of corrective actions;
* Partner with business areas to improve processes without compromising independence: advise on best practices, develop practical recommendations, and measure gains/risk mitigation;
* Coordinate special audits/investigations (as required), applying strict chain-of-custody, confidentiality, and documentation standards;
* Interact with **External Audit**, Compliance, Legal, Internal Controls, Risk Management, IT, and business units to align scope, reduce rework, and ensure coverage of relevant risks;
* Prepare materials and presentations for the **Audit Committee/Board**, including risk outlook, plan status, critical topics, and function performance indicators;
* **Lead/mentor** internal team members and/or third-party auditors: assign work, review working papers, ensure methodological standardization and technical development;
* Uphold **methodology and quality** (audit programs, templates, working papers) aligned with internal audit and governance best practices;
* Support the evolution of **tools and analytics** (data extraction, continuous testing, automation) to increase coverage and effectiveness.
**Requirements and qualifications**
* Degree in **Accounting Sciences, Business Administration, Engineering**, or related fields;
* Solid experience in **internal/external auditing, internal controls, and risk assessment**;
* Experience in a **publicly traded company** is desirable;
* Practical knowledge of **corporate governance, compliance, and executive report preparation**;
* **Differentiators:** certifications (CIA, CRC), experience in IT auditing and data analysis (data analytics).
