**O&M Technician II**

**Prerequisites:**
* Completed Technical course in Electrotechnics, Electromechanics, Electronics, or Mechanics (mandatory);
* Valid CFT (Technical Safety Certificate) (mandatory);
* Full on-site availability in Santa Rosa (mandatory);
* Knowledge of transmission and subtransmission substations (mandatory);
* Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings (mandatory);
* Knowledge of high-voltage substation equipment (mandatory);
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (mandatory);
* Willingness to travel (mandatory);
* Willingness to perform work at height (mandatory);
* Driver's license category D or E (preferred);
* SAP knowledge (preferred);
**Your day-to-day responsibilities:**
* Perform preventive maintenance activities as specified in the transmission system equipment maintenance plan, per instructions from the maintenance engineering team, and carry out low- and medium-complexity corrective maintenance on substation equipment;
* Perform high-complexity corrective maintenance on substations, including work on energized equipment (live-line work) using contact, distance, or potential methods, under supervision of a Level III Technician or responsible Engineer;
* Execute, assist with, and supervise commissioning activities (Factory Acceptance Tests – FATs and Site Acceptance Tests – SATs) for equipment and panels of new projects, reinforcements, and upgrades to the National Interconnected System (SIN);
* Inspect transmission lines, equipment, and facilities, documenting any anomalies identified;
* Develop substation improvement projects under supervision of a Level III Technician or responsible Engineer;
* Perform electrical tests on yard equipment such as circuit breakers, transformers, and others;
* Schedule execution of activities outlined in the maintenance plan, manage materials and supplies, prepare detailed technical reports, and propose improvements;
* Perform switching operations in substations upon request from the Transmission Operations Center (COT); operate locally assisted substations and remotely assisted substations during contingency or supervisory failure situations;
