Strategic enhancement and API development using new technologies * **Job\-ID:** V000011454 * **Location:** Zeltweg * **Start Date:** As soon as possible * **Employment Type:** Full-time * **Employee Referral Program:** Yes Your Responsibilities ------------- * Development of project-specific requirements for our central Infrastructure Monitoring (IM) platform, used globally to monitor railway infrastructure * Design and implementation of central IM microservices, as well as modification of existing microservices * Strategic enhancement of the central IM platform in the backend domain, including API development and extension, adoption of new technologies, and code refactoring * Implementation of backend solutions based on Python and REST\-API * Optional: Component development in JAVA * Collaboration with the frontend team to integrate backend functionalities * Ensuring software quality through code reviews and unit tests * Creation of technical documentation for developed microservices * Technical point of contact during internal and external meetings regarding central IM\-backend Your Profile ---------- * Completed degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification * Solid knowledge of Python and REST\-API * Optional: Experience in JAVA development * Experience with databases (relational and document-based), SQL, Atlassian Suite, and source code management using git * Experience with containerization using Docker * Team-oriented and strong communication skills * Independent and structured working style What We Offer -------------- **Compensation and Benefits:** The collective agreement minimum gross salary for this position is € 4\.445,95 (paid 14 times per year).
