**WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:** We are seeking a person for our **PO Processes team** to map and document production processes, identify bottlenecks, and propose improvements to increase efficiency and reduce losses. Responsibilities also include planning and monitoring productivity targets, analyzing indicators for operational strategies, and monitoring productive capacity. Additional activities include quality management, handling non-conformities, collaborating with different departments to integrate processes, and training teams on changes. Finally, monitor the production flow, ensuring adequate inventory levels and tracking performance through KPIs, preparing reports with improvement proposals. **Responsibilities and duties** **WHAT YOU WILL DO:** * Map and document steps in production processes using tools such as flowcharts, diagrams, or specific software to identify critical points and bottlenecks. * Monitor the daily cost of Cola, Paints, and Plates; * Monitor process control tests; * Develop and execute Process Control routines in the factory environment to generate information through reports and work instructions that help reduce or eliminate the possibility of losses and inefficiencies; * Break down annual productivity targets, ensuring the implementation of planning, execution, and control processes for business unit teams' plans and improvement initiatives. * Participate in productivity projects by developing schedules, negotiating implementation dates, and monitoring the execution of activities by cross-functional teams; * Perform periodic monitoring of areas' productive capacity, evaluating the efficiency and effectiveness of existing processes. * Responsible for receiving, assessing, and managing actions related to quality, such as receiving customer non-conformance reports and issuing non-conformance reports to suppliers; * Train and disseminate good manufacturing practices, guiding employees on process changes and ensuring clear communication of updated policies and procedures; * Manage and organize the production process flow, ensuring the availability of necessary raw materials, an optimized production queue prepared for emergency orders, and proper delivery of finished products to their recipients; * Responsible for controlling performance indicators, conducting alignment meetings, continuous improvement projects, productivity projects, supplier development and approval. * Monitor the implementation of new equipment, additives, and operational procedures and communicate them to department staff; * Contribute to producing high-quality and reliable products; **Requirements and qualifications** **WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:** * Bachelor's degree in Engineering; * Experience in the role; * Knowledge in Cost Analysis; * Knowledge in Quality Control; * Availability to work 100% onsite in Bento Gonçalves/RS **Additional information** **Smurfit Westrock**, a global leader in sustainable paper and packaging, operates in 40 countries with over 500 packaging conversion operations and 62 paper mills.
