As a **Boilermaker II**, your **main responsibilities** will be: * Interpret technical drawings, isometric drawings, and fabrication projects. * Perform layout marking using manual tools such as scaled rulers, compasses, set squares, center punches, etc. * Carry out handling and/or lifting of materials, parts, and equipment. * Identify materials used in boilermaking. * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment. * Fabricate basic piping, metallic structures, and parts using the following tools: oxy-acetylene torch, grinder, plasma cutter, shears, hand and bench drills, magnetic-base electric drill, etc. We are seeking candidates with the following **competencies**: * Knowledge of bending machines, plate rollers, presses, and guillotine shears; * Knowledge of electric arc welding; * Knowledge of oxy-fuel cutting equipment; * Knowledge of gases used in oxy-fuel cutting; * Intermediate-level mathematics knowledge for layout development; * Knowledge of reading and interpreting technical drawings. We expect you to have the following **qualifications**: * Minimum completed elementary education, Boilermaking course, Mechanical Technician course, and Welding course. The following experiences or skills are **desirable**, but not mandatory: * Experience: Electric arc welding. * Industry experience: Experience in the industrial sector.
