We do the right thing—today and for generations to come. **PURPOSE AND IMPACT OF THE ROLE** --------------------------------- The Senior E\&I Engineering Specialist will provide technical support and specialized expertise at the regional corporate level, with a primary focus on electrical engineering (~65%), complemented by automation (~20%) and instrumentation (~15%), contributing to the overall governance of standards and applications to enhance reliability, safety, and efficiency of industrial operations. In this role, you will engage in complex engineering activities, bridging operational requirements with corporate guidelines and supporting strategic projects and initiatives. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** -------------------------------- * Lead the development and implementation of standards, policies, procedures, and work instructions in electrical engineering. * Serve as the technical reference for cross-functional teams in selecting and implementing tools and methodologies that enable best practices. * Provide specialized technical support for operations and projects, addressing complex challenges. * Support leadership in planning and implementing electrical engineering standards and deliverables for capital projects. * Execute tactical development and supervise the implementation of technical guidelines and strategies for electrical engineering. * Identify improvement opportunities and eliminate gaps in electrical engineering implementations through establishing control mechanisms, audits, and standardization. * Propose and develop recommendations, implementing solutions to enhance performance and define acceptable risk tolerance levels. * Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, escalating only the most critical matters to appropriate professionals. * Perform other duties as assigned. **REQUIREMENTS** -------------- **MINIMUM** * Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; active registration with CREA. * Experience in industrial electrical engineering within large-scale or multinational environments. * Proven experience conducting complex technical analyses, inspections, and audits requiring high levels of independent judgment. * Strong knowledge of industry standards and practices (ABNT, IEC, IEEE, NR\-10\). * Willingness to travel 30%–40% of the time. * Intermediate English proficiency. **PREFERRED** * Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher). * Experience in capital project management (PMI/PMP or equivalent). * Knowledge of Process Safety Management (PSM) and electrical safety in medium- or large-scale industrial facilities. * Familiarity with automation platforms and medium-voltage (MV) electrical systems applied in the food industry or related sectors. * Experience with asset and reliability management tools (CMMS, RCM, FMEA applied to electrical systems). \#LI\-Onsite \#LI\-GE2 At Cargill, every person matters.
