Feed the furnace with firewood, perform preheating of machines and equipment, and test their operation; assess the condition of all equipment; control gas draft from the furnace, boiler pressure, amount of firewood in the furnace, water level in the feed tank, temperature of the heated steam; monitor periodic inspections and equipment maintenance; maintain workplace organization; prior experience operating wood-fired boilers with a steam output of 1000 kg is required.
