A dynamic environment that values innovation **Controller Analyst – Portão/RS** **Are you looking for a new opportunity in your professional career?** The Administration and Finance area in Portão/RS has this opportunity to work in the Wood Handling Latam operations controller function! **Your main tasks and responsibilities include:** * Provide guidance to ensure that the development and analysis of business financial information are accurate, timely, and relevant to the needs of the Business Line and Business Unit. Actively collaborate with Departments, BUs, and leaders from the Technology Unit (“TU”) to achieve results and provide necessary support. * Analyze and monitor costs incurred in cost centers together with responsible managers. * Analyze and monitor variances between actual hourly rates and standard hourly rates, delivering reports to responsible managers. * Calculate the standard hourly rate. * Prepare and consolidate the cost center budget for the following fiscal year (budget and estimate). * Provide detailed performance analyses for each Valmet Business Line, supporting senior management in decision-making. * Ensure implementation of Valmet’s financial policies, aligned with IFRS. * Provide detailed analyses of profit and loss statements (P\&L) and their respective specific indicators. * Proactively manage working capital (NWC) items such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, and inventories. Ensure execution of the entire unit’s financial result budget, as well as provide comparative analyses with prior years. * Support internal and external audits, in accordance with headquarters’ requirements. * Ensure correct accounting of project revenue and costs. * Monitor project execution by comparing actual costs against budgeted costs, and provide reports to project managers to support decision-making. * Manage the financial results of workshop/manufacturing operations. * Serve as the Business focal point alongside global controllers. * Ensure implementation of revenue recognition policies under IFRS 15\. * Monitor sales processes and ensure Valmet’s pricing policies are being followed. * Ensure project margin execution jointly with the project manager. Understand warranty procedures and application of related provisions. * Participate in ERP implementation interfaces. **To succeed in this position, it is important to have:** * Completed Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Economics, or Accounting Sciences. * Postgraduate degree in Finance is desirable. * Solid experience in controller functions. * Advanced English proficiency. * Experience in team or workforce management. * Knowledge of POC / IFRS 15\. **We Offer** We offer a dynamic work environment that values innovation and fosters development.
