Quality assurance, safety, and technical compliance The **Civil Engineer** is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all phases of bridge and special structure construction projects, ensuring compliance with deadlines, costs, quality standards, safety requirements, and technical specifications as defined in design documents and applicable regulations. The role involves close collaboration with field teams, designers, suppliers, and project managers to ensure efficiency and excellence in delivering special structures. **Key Responsibilities:** * Analyze structural designs, technical memoranda, and specifications, proposing adjustments when necessary. * Coordinate field teams, supervising activities including earthworks, foundations, concrete pouring, formwork assembly, and steel structure erection. * Monitor physical and financial schedules, ensuring adherence to established deadlines and budgets. * Ensure implementation of technical standards, occupational safety regulations, and environmental protection requirements throughout all construction phases. * Monitor supplier, contractor, and service provider performance, ensuring compliance with required quality standards. * Support technological control of materials and compliance with the executed design. * Participate in technical and planning meetings with engineering, inspection, and client teams.
