We are looking for a professional who wants to work in an environment oriented toward innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement — the pillars of our SHAPE culture: Shared success, helping each other succeed, continuous improvement, purposeful leadership, and valuing all voices. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Plan, coordinate, and control Robotic Manufacturing activities, ensuring adherence to production, assembly, integration, and technical delivery schedules according to established quality, cost, and timeline requirements. * Ensure execution of the production plan by evaluating productive capacity, available resources, and business priorities, promoting appropriate operational balancing. * Coordinate the Robotic Manufacturing team, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, fostering professional development, and ensuring a collaborative, results-oriented work environment. * Establish, monitor, and analyze departmental performance indicators, tracking productivity, efficiency, quality, lead time, absenteeism, rework, and on-time delivery. * Manage production order scheduling, distribution, control, and closure, ensuring correct execution and traceability of manufacturing processes. * Coordinate technical delivery-related activities, guaranteeing documentation organization, schedule compliance, and delivery quality to customers. * Technically support and monitor startups, commissioning, and equipment validation as needed, contributing to customer satisfaction and implemented solution performance. * Collaborate with Engineering, PPCP (Production Planning and Control), Quality, Procurement, Technical Assistance, and Supply Chain departments to ensure operational alignment and resolve multidisciplinary requests. * Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in manufacturing processes, implementing actions aimed at increasing productivity, reducing waste, optimizing resources, and improving quality. * Lead operational excellence initiatives, participating in Gemba walks, performance reviews, improvement projects, and Lean Manufacturing initiatives. * Monitor and control area-specific productive hour reporting and logging, ensuring data reliability for operational management and decision-making. * Analyze and resolve operational and technical issues, conducting root cause investigations and implementing corrective and preventive actions. * Ensure standardization of processes, work instructions, and operational practices within the area, guaranteeing compliance with technical requirements and management systems. * Promote a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, safety, and people development aligned with organizational values. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed undergraduate degree (e.g., Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Control and Automation Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Industrial Management, or related fields); * Intermediate English proficiency desirable for technical reading and interpretation; * Spanish desirable; * Relevant experience in the role; * SAP knowledge; Industrial performance indicator management experience; * At **Sumig**, we believe innovation emerges when inspired people connect through a shared purpose: **transforming welding into productivity, quality, and performance for our customers.** For over 40 years, we have developed solutions that accelerate industry through technology, technical expertise, robotics, and automation — always committed to delivering efficiency and safety in every project.
