Job Summary:
The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for performing corrective and preventive maintenance on a wide range of industrial machines and equipment, planning and documenting maintenance activities, and interacting with operators and third parties.

The **Maintenance Mechanic** is responsible for:
a) performing corrective and preventive maintenance on components, equipment, and industrial machinery;
b) planning maintenance activities according to priorities, evaluating operating conditions and performance of machines and equipment;
c) lubricating machines, components, and tools;
d) documenting technical information;
e) performing preventive and corrective maintenance on machines and equipment such as: main power panel, well panel, compressor (preventive), mixer, washing machines, centrifuges, ovens, sewing machines, press, electric and manual pallet jacks, fans, hand dryers, forklifts, among others;
f) reading and interpreting mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic drawings during machine maintenance;
g) replacing parts and equipment and preparing reports on replaced parts, updating machine history records;
h) evaluating whether the parts and equipment being replaced are suitable for machine or process operation, and suggesting appropriate (improved) parts or equipment to reduce maintenance time and cost;
i) fabricating and repairing machine components such as parts and accessories, where possible;
j) collaborating with machine operators to minimize waste and costs;
k) keeping the maintenance room, toolboxes, and recently serviced areas organized and clean;
l) possessing skills in maintaining mechanical devices and knowledge of machine maintenance and repair;
m) guiding third parties on service execution, verifying whether services were performed as planned and approving them; if services do not conform to plans, rejecting them and providing reorientation; reporting service completion and approval status to immediate supervisor; the same guidelines apply to third-party preventive maintenance, such as elevators and compressors;
n) complying with maintenance procedures and being subject to disciplinary measures.

Compensation: R$3\.500,00 \- R$5\.000,00 per month
