Perform the analytical techniques described in company procedures, with critical analysis of results, meeting deadlines while maintaining organization and ensuring the safety and integrity of all personnel.** RESPONSIBILITIES: * Initiate team leadership with assistance and support from area coordination, aligned with Eurofins values and Leadership Charter (see website or Corporate Principles); * Perform and supervise various analytical steps, including weighing and homogenization; * Participate in validations related to analytical steps; * Communicate with the registration department (Login) regarding samples under processing; * Define, with support from the Coordinator and/or Commercial Area, the priority for performing analyses; * Train new professionals; * Conduct verification and validation of analytical results / critical analyses; * Perform dual verification of already-entered results in the system and release them with proper report signature; * Enter evaluated results, repeats, and additional analyses into the system (per respective business line), as well as record relevant information; * Coordinate proficiency testing regarding deadlines and execution; * Coordinate resolution of routine laboratory issues, involving Coordination when necessary; * Perform / request / monitor corrective and preventive maintenance of equipment; * Provide support in controlling laboratory material inventory; * Assist in sending materials for calibration; * Organize daily workflow by printing work maps and preparing the routine mirror to be performed; * Organize the laboratory for preparation of materials (solutions, buffers, culture media, standard solutions), temperature checks, and verification of solution and reagent expiry dates in use; * Maintain full records in the routine mirror (physical or digital document) of items used, including their respective batches and expiry dates, per structure established by area Coordination; * Continuously guide the team on cleaning and organizing areas with focus on laboratory safety; * Keep freezers, refrigerators, cabinets, drawers, shelves, and workbenches organized, storing each material at the manufacturer-recommended temperature (ambient, refrigerated, or frozen); * Inspect materials monthly for expiry dates; proactively inform the Sector Coordinator about upcoming expiries and perform disposal when required; * Clean and disinfect the work area (bench) before and after routine, following the specific procedure; * Ensure all forms are correctly completed; * Supervise and obtain analysis planning in the system (per respective business line); * Request purchases of laboratory materials in the system; * Monitor routine document archiving, ensuring compliance with Quality training; * Use all necessary PPE to perform tasks safely and in accordance with laboratory safety standards; * Review and update procedures in the Quality Management System; * Accompany laboratory visits and audits; * Serve as technical responsible for accreditation and certification bodies. * Assume area leadership during Coordinator’s absences. * Contact clients directly to provide technical support when required. * Perform other related duties as needed or at supervisor’s discretion. Clinical Analysis Laboratory: * Perform various tests assigned to the Department, focusing on high-complexity tests (e.g., NGS), according to technical procedures in which the employee has been trained; * Provide support for low-complexity tests (e.g., qPCR and Sanger) when necessary; * Assist in developing new test templates; * Prepare lectures, presentations, and trainings for periodic delivery under the company’s Continuing Education Program; * Attend workshops, conferences, etc., and disseminate acquired knowledge to the team; * Perform validations of materials, equipment, and new protocols per Sector Coordination instructions; * Perform other related duties as needed or at supervisor’s discretion. **Qualifications** **Behavioral Competencies:** Refer to Eurofins Leadership Charter (see website or Corporate Principles). **Required Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, Biology, or related fields. **Additional Education:** Specialization in the field is an advantage. **Languages and Proficiency Level:** Advanced/Fluent English + Basic Spanish. **Prior Experience (type and duration):** 5 to 9 years of experience. **Technical Knowledge:** Advanced expertise in the field of operation with mastery of associated activities. **Additional Information** **Available Positions:** 02 positions with different shifts. **Work Schedule:** Tuesday to Saturday. **Working Hours:** Tuesday to Friday: * 08:00–17:00; or * 13:00–22:00.
