Team-based identification and resolution of process-related issues Position: Process Technician – Plastic Transformation Location: Americana – SP Employment Type: On-site \| CLT Salary: To be determined **Job Description** The YAPP Brasil, an automotive-sector multinational, is seeking a Process Technician with experience in plastic transformation to work at its Americana/SP unit. This professional will monitor the production process, perform parameter adjustments, support production stability, and contribute to final product quality. They will also support the implementation of process improvements and the introduction of new products, collaborating closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering departments. **Main Responsibilities** * Monitor and adjust process parameters, primarily in blow molding, extrusion, and injection operations, aiming for production stability and quality; * Support the development, testing, and implementation of improvements in production processes; * Assist in introducing new products into production; * Help draft and update process sheets, work instructions, and technical records; * Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering departments to identify and resolve process-related issues; * Support analyses of process and equipment failures, contributing to corrective actions; * Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards. **Mandatory Requirements** * Completed technical education in Plastics, Industrial Processes, Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Maintenance, or related fields; * Industrial experience, preferably in plastic transformation; * Basic or intermediate knowledge of injection, extrusion, or blow molding processes; * Familiarity with machine parameter adjustment and process monitoring; * Basic ability to read and interpret technical drawings; * Knowledge of measurement instruments such as calipers and tape measures; * Strong communication skills, organization, proactivity, and ability to work effectively in teams; * Knowledge of basic industrial safety standards. **Preferred Qualifications** * Prior experience in the automotive or plastics industry; * Practical experience in resolving process-related issues; * Basic knowledge of mechanics, electricity, pneumatics, or hydraulics; * Experience with process documentation and work instructions; * Exposure to continuous improvement practices in manufacturing environments. **Benefits** * Meal allowance * Medical and dental assistance * Profit-sharing program (PLR) * Career development plan and continuous learning opportunities * Commuter transportation * On-site meals **Note** We seek a technically skilled, hands-on professional eager to learn and grow.
