Responsible for the company's automotive management, from acquisition through commissioning and operation. Controls industrialization operations by interfacing with procurement, finance, contracts, tax, and implementation partners, dealerships, and customs brokers to ensure traceability and deadline compliance. Manages insurance, claims, and fleet tracking; oversees operational performance of trucks used for indivisible cargo and dry cargo transportation, ensuring regulatory compliance and driver performance.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
* Interface with internal requesting departments and company suppliers regarding truck transportation requests, aiming to ensure efficient coordination and fulfillment of logistical needs;
* Schedule trips with drivers, defining routing schedules according to trip rotation plans to optimize transportation cost, safety, and efficiency;
* Coordinate with billing and tax departments to enable issuance of transportation-related documents—such as MDF-e, CT-e, NF-e, and Cargo Registration—to ensure legal and administrative compliance;
* Record and manage driver per diems, and coordinate with the HR department for payment processing, ensuring timely and accurate compensation disbursement;
* Prepare and submit periodic reports to fleet management, monitoring and flagging non-conformities and regulatory deviations to ensure safe and economical transportation, and support development of cost and operational performance indicators;
* Control and monitor regulatory documentation for indivisible cargo transportation, complying with rules and limits set by regulatory agencies—including AET, ANTT, and Escort services when required;
* Record daily trip data, costs, maintenance activities, and general expenses to develop indicators that help measure and manage truck operational costs;
* Control and distribute GPS trackers across units, facilitating tracker installation and removal on vehicles, and preparing driver performance reports;
* Manage equipment registration in the system, overseeing new asset onboarding—including implementation, insurance, certifications, license approvals, and accessory installations;
* Oversee the implementation process for newly acquired vehicles up to commissioning, ensuring successful integration and operational readiness of new equipment;
* Monitor insurance policy expiration dates and coordinate with insurance brokers and providers—including policy renewals, endorsements, and vehicle exclusions—and manage claims to ensure appropriate coverage and compliance with internal policies;
* Periodically inspect and monitor the fleet via regulatory authorities, identifying potential violations, addressing citations, and ensuring all vehicle documentation remains valid for lawful operation;
* Conduct and follow up on asset transfer procedures, supporting local fleet departments to ensure effective asset management and movement;
* Register, authorize, and deactivate fuel and toll devices for the fleet, while centrally managing corporate fuel cards and toll tags to ensure proper control over related resources and expenses;
* Perform job duties strictly adhering to all organizational safety, health, and environmental work standards, consistently using all mandatory PPE during task execution, and promptly reporting any health or safety risks to immediate supervisors.
* Carry out duties in alignment with the company’s values, policies, guidelines, procedures, and processes, always focusing on organizational goals and maintaining confidentiality and protection of company information.
* Maintain discipline within the 5S program, aiming for workplace safety through organization, standardization, and cleanliness of the work environment.
* Safeguard company property under one’s responsibility and immediately report any issues or damages detected to the immediate supervisor.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Logistics, or related fields;
Prior experience in this area is desirable.
