Description
The Operational Cleaning Assistant is responsible for cleaning, maintaining, and organizing the company's administrative areas and toll plazas, ensuring hygienic, safe, and suitable environments for use, maintaining supply inventories, monitoring product expiration dates, and strictly complying with safety regulations when handling cleaning materials and chemicals.
**Responsibilities and duties**
* Collect waste from the administrative building, including kitchen and restrooms;
* Clean public and internal restrooms, ensuring they are always clean and fit for use, and be responsible for restocking supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels;
* Clean the coordination office and the staff lounge, and perform general cleaning of administrative areas;
* Clean kitchen cabinets and countertops, keeping\-them organized and ready for use;
* Clean the refrigerator, discarding unused food items;
* Organize the storage room, ensuring cleaning materials are clean, orderly, and properly stored;
* Wash interior and exterior windows and doors, preserving the appearance and condition of the premises;
* Use personal protective equipment (PPE) while performing tasks, ensuring daily compliance with the company’s safety standards;
* Clean the interior of toll booths as well as the corridor connecting the tunnel to the administrative building;
* Periodically monitor product expiration dates and Safety Data Sheets (SDS), ensuring compliance with safety regulations;
* Strictly follow SDS instructions to ensure safe and appropriate handling of chemical products in accordance with safety regulations.
**Requirements and qualifications** **ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION**
* Completed elementary education.
* Availability to work on a rotating 2x2 schedule (day or night shifts).
**ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS (PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED)**
* Knowledge of cleaning products and materials;
* Basic techniques for environmental hygiene and maintenance;
* Awareness of safe handling practices for chemical substances;
* Knowledge of occupational safety and hygiene practices.
