Perform basic vehicle inspections and maintenance, checking oil, coolant, fuel levels, tire condition, and other essential items for proper vehicle operation. Complete vehicle usage reports, recording mileage, fuel consumption, incidents occurring during transit, and other relevant information. Comply with traffic regulations and company safety policies, observing speed limits and using personal protective equipment when required. Plan routes and itineraries, considering road conditions, travel time, and customer or company needs. Load and unload goods when necessary, ensuring proper placement and security of transported items. Provide courteous and professional service to customers, colleagues, and other individuals involved in the transportation process. Assist in organizing and cleaning vehicles, maintaining them in suitable operating condition and presenting a positive image of the company. Report any problems or irregularities encountered during transit or vehicle operation to the responsible department, seeking prompt and effective solutions.
