CIVIL WORKS SPECIALIST

Work in the technical area, establishing the processes and procedures necessary for the execution and fulfillment of action plans defined by the strategic level; managing, controlling, and administering civil maintenance and construction processes through project planning and development, guidance to subordinate teams, and provision of necessary resources; proposing and/or studying new investments through preliminary studies and project inventories; monitoring the progress of projects under responsibility; managing contracts related to projects under responsibility, as well as performing other related duties inherent to the position. **Responsibilities and duties** The professional is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing high and medium complexity projects, ensuring compliance with strategic plans, deadlines, costs, and established quality standards. They manage civil construction and maintenance processes, developing and monitoring projects, guiding teams, and ensuring necessary resources for activity execution. They are also responsible for managing and supervising contracts and contractors, monitoring performance and quality indicators, as well as overseeing projects under responsibility, controlling costs, timelines, and technical compliance. They must ensure compliance with environmental legislation and occupational safety regulations, promoting proper use of PPE and reporting any hazardous situations. They should also prepare technical reports, propose improvements, and ensure all processes align with the company's values, policies, and guidelines. Additionally, they are responsible for maintaining workplace organization, cleanliness, and standardization according to the 5S program, as well as safeguarding company assets and reporting any irregularities.
