General Description:
Production Operator I is responsible for working in various stages of the food industry production process, performing manual or operational tasks according to the assigned department, while adhering to quality, safety, and hygiene standards.
Work involves poultry processing—including cutting, collecting, weighing, packaging, and palletizing—in various departments within a climate-controlled environment using knives.
AVAILABLE DEPARTMENTS:
Slaughter
Initial stage of the process involving bleeding and preparation of animals for further processing. Requires attention, speed, and strict adherence to safety and hygiene protocols.
Offal Room
Responsible for separating, cleaning, and preparing edible offal (e.g., heart, liver, gizzard, kidneys). Work is conducted in a cold environment with emphasis on cleanliness.
Tray Packing
Department responsible for assembling products into trays for retail sale, ensuring correct weight, proper presentation, and packaging compliant with standards.
Shawarma Processing
Prepares specific cuts of meat which are then marinated and layered to form shawarma, following strict quality standards.
Deboning
Removal of bones from meat while maximizing yield and maintaining product quality. Requires manual dexterity and attention to minimize waste.
Packaging
Responsible for packaging and sealing finished products, applying labels, and ensuring preservation for transportation.
Evisceration
Stage involving removal of internal organs from the animal, requiring strict sanitary controls and attention to meat quality.
Sanitation
Cleaning and disinfection of machinery, equipment, and production areas to ensure readiness and safety for the next shift.
Palletizing
Organizing packaged products onto pallets for transportation and storage. Requires care to prevent damage to goods.
1st Shift: 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday
(approximate schedule)
2nd Shift: 4:00 PM to 2:00 AM, Monday to Friday
(approximate schedule)
Saturdays worked as needed, with overtime pay or compensatory time off during the week.
Salary and Benefits
Starting salary: BRL 1804.00
