




Job Summary: After a three-month training period as an electrical assistant, the professional will be responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance of distribution networks and electrical installations, operating equipment and inspecting systems. Dynamic role involving fieldwork and inspections **Description and Responsibilities:** **Schedule:** During training: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM; thereafter rotating shift **Level:** Not Informed **Employment Type:** Tenured \- CLT labor code Initially, the candidate will undergo the selection process, and if approved at all stages, will be hired as an electrical assistant and undergo a three-month training period (during these three months, the candidate will receive salary and benefits; training occurs during regular working hours, meaning candidates are employed and receive appropriate training to perform fieldwork after these three months). After completing the training and becoming qualified electricians, the following responsibilities and duties apply: * Perform preventive maintenance on distribution networks. * Carry out preventive maintenance in accordance with procedures and technical standards. * Analyze the work to be performed to select appropriate materials. * Meet pre-established deadlines. * Complete the Service Order accurately per applicable standards. * Visually inspect the physical condition of distribution networks and lines. * Follow the correct sequence for opening and closing equipment. * Perform necessary corrections on distribution networks. * Repair electrical installations and auxiliary equipment for protection in building premises and substation yards. * Perform switching operations on switches and distribution equipment to isolate sections of the electrical system for maintenance or expansion work. * Inspect equipment. * Operate switches and distribution equipment in accordance with operational procedures. * Report irregularities found in distribution networks to the COD. * Connect, disconnect, install/remove, and replace energy meters and auxiliary equipment (CT/VT), and inspect consumer units. * Operate switches and equipment in unattended substations in accordance with operational procedures and commands issued by COD/COS operators. * Inspect substation equipment. * Prepare reports on the operational status of substations. * Install/remove and replace public lighting lamps and auxiliary lighting equipment. * Install/remove and replace public lighting arms. * Verify connections in distribution networks. * Prepare distribution network sketches to feed the SGD system. * Report irregularities detected during field inspections to the COD/COS. * Accurately complete distribution network inspection forms. * Test equipment functionality in accordance with technical standards. * Safely and appropriately recover and expand low-voltage electrical installations in substations. * Drive vehicles, maintaining them in good condition, complying with the National Traffic Code and internal regulations, avoiding incompatible speeds, abrupt braking or maneuvers, and safeguarding company materials and equipment. * Conduct distribution network inspections to ensure continuity of power supply or restoration of the system in case of failure. * Report irregularities detected during field inspections to the COD/COS; • Accurately complete distribution network inspection forms. * Test equipment functionality in accordance with technical standards. * Safely and appropriately recover and expand low-voltage electrical installations in substations. * Drive vehicles, maintaining them in good condition, complying with the National Traffic Code and internal regulations, avoiding incompatible speeds, abrupt braking or maneuvers, and safeguarding company materials and equipment. **Requirements:** * Completed high school education * Valid driver's license, Category B.
