INSTRUMENT MECHANIC III

Carry out more complex installations, as well as revisions, replacements, tests, and inspections of indicating thermometers and corrective and/or preventive maintenance. Aim for agility in processes and achievement of goals. Support the development of other team members in the area, aiming at process standardization and delivery quality. **Responsibilities and duties** Carry out compressed air network and electrical installations; Perform tests on instruments and electrical and electronic devices during off-season periods; Perform inspections and adjustments on all equipment in the industrial sector; Monitor the entire production process to identify any system anomalies, prepare service orders reports, and take appropriate actions; Prepare executed service order reports, including the actions taken to correct identified issues, and forward them to the immediate supervisor; Perform tests on temperature, pressure, and level transmitters, analyzing calibration ranges to either return them to operation or send them for maintenance, subsequently ensuring equipment functionality during the production process; Perform maintenance on pneumatic, electro-pneumatic, and electronic valves, actuators, and positioners, disassembling, checking parts, calibrating, and testing to return them to operation; Perform maintenance on safety valves up to 150 psi, including disassembly, sandblasting, painting, verification of seals, bushings, wear on parts, and lapping, ensuring safe operation of high-pressure equipment; Daily monitoring of pneumatic and electronic equipment operation, checking for failures in order to perform preventive maintenance and prevent interruptions in the production process; Perform annual maintenance on sugar bagging scales, disassembling and making adjustments to ensure proper operation during production periods; Perform maintenance on actuators, disassembling, lubricating, cleaning, replacing parts, and conducting operational tests prior to reinstallation; Assist in panel installation and wiring connections, performing adjustments and tests to ensure equipment is ready for use; Manually assist in maintenance of electro-pneumatic sugar bagging scales, identifying irregularities, replacing parts, making adjustments, ensuring operation only during production periods; Perform job activities in compliance with all organizational safety, health, and environmental regulations and procedures, as well as consistently using all mandatory personal protective equipment (PPE) required for job tasks and departmental activities.
