Training employees on environmental regulations **Description:** Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering and/or related fields. Conduct field environmental inspections and audits (in APP areas, Wastewater Treatment Plants, Waste Central, stormwater systems, containment structures, and selective collection) using the Qualiex software to identify potential environmental impacts in operational and administrative departments; Accompany environmental consultants during site visits, clarifying doubts and aligning on environmental topics to meet legal requirements; Request procurement of services/materials by entering needs into the system to generate purchasing demands for the supply chain department; Participate in internal and external audits, providing appropriate guidance and documentation demonstrations regarding environmental matters to support continuous improvement and development of the management system; Upload documents and spreadsheets to environmental management platforms; Monitor temporary storage and disposal of hazardous waste into the environment, ensuring proper storage and subsequent disposal at authorized facilities to guarantee appropriate final disposal; Respond to government agency inspections by accompanying inspectors during site visits and providing requested information, aiming to maintain positive relationships and transparency with regulatory bodies; Deliver training on departmental procedures, educating employees on regulations and best practices to enhance employee competence in environmental matters; Interpret environmental regulations, ordinances, and legislation, evaluating their applicability to company activities and keeping departments updated; Monitor SEMA-mandated analytical results (atmospheric emissions, surface water, effluents, and sewage), reviewing parameter values to comply with current legal requirements; Support the development of the Sustainability Report by gathering necessary information and participating in meetings to demonstrate the company’s sustainability initiatives to stakeholders; Reduce environmental impacts generated by company activities through environmental management, waste-related guidance, technology implementation, and employee training and capacity building; Accompany technical visits to the plant for documentation purposes when required for promotional use; Monitor and execute tasks related to monitoring of water intake wells, environmental inspections of stormwater systems, and chlorine application monitoring in potable water as stipulated in the Water Resources Program to meet applicable legal requirements and environmental conditions specified in Operating Licenses; Perform job responsibilities in full compliance with all organizational safety, health, and environmental work standards and procedures, consistently using all mandatory personal protective equipment (PPE) required for the position and department; promptly reporting to the immediate supervisor any activity posing risks to one’s own health or that of colleagues; Carry out duties in alignment with the company’s values, policies, guidelines, procedures, and processes, always focusing on organizational goals while maintaining confidentiality and protecting company information; Maintain discipline within the 5S program to promote workplace safety through organization, standardization, and cleanliness; Safeguard company assets under one’s responsibility and immediately report any problems or damages detected to the immediate supervisor. 2511280202191891241
