Support the performance of laboratory tests and analyses The Junior Laboratory Assistant is responsible for assisting in laboratory activities in accordance with technical procedures and standards. This includes preparing and analyzing samples, as well as maintaining laboratory organization and cleanliness. The role is performed under the supervision of a more experienced professional, contributing to the smooth operation of the laboratory. The employment contract is temporary, starting in May and ending on September 30. * Assist in the collection of biological and chemical samples, following established procedures. * Prepare solutions and reagents for laboratory analyses, under supervision. * Perform laboratory cleaning and organization, ensuring proper placement of materials and equipment. * Support the performance of laboratory tests and analyses, accurately recording obtained results. * Maintain inventory control of laboratory materials and supplies, requesting replenishments when necessary. * Adhere to safety and biosafety regulations during laboratory activities. * Participate in training and capacity-building sessions to enhance technical and practical knowledge. * Collaborate with the laboratory team to support daily operational efficiency. * Ensure maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment, reporting any issues to the responsible person. * Perform other related duties as directed by the immediate supervisor.
