Field Testing Specialist

Job Summary: Support research activities for Soybean and Corn, with emphasis on external trials, coordinating evaluations, planting, harvesting, and field experiment management. Key Highlights: 1. Lead and supervise the work of temporary team members. 2. Participate in training courses provided by the company for professional development. 3. Experience in evaluating field trials and conducting field experiments. Support research activities for Soybean and Corn crops, with emphasis on external trial-related tasks. Coordinate evaluation, planting, harvesting, and field experiment management activities. Support area mapping activities using company-provided applications. Responsibilities: Follow Corteva’s quality and safety procedures. Meet activity scheduling deadlines and serve as a verifier for such deadlines within your responsibilities. Coordinate planting, management, and harvesting of trials conducted outside—and occasionally inside—the station. Lead and supervise the work of temporary team members. Perform on-site and off-site activities following Corteva’s safety protocols. Participate in training courses provided by the company for professional development. Maintain company equipment. Train team members to enhance operational task performance. Ensure trial quality both on-site and off-site. Coordinate evaluations and data collection within established timelines, adhering to protocols while prioritizing safety, quality, and efficiency. Support setup of trials and experiments using company applications. Conduct and ensure the quality of collected data. Assume responsibility for Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) and Quality (CAMS) matters alongside the team and other site focal points. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy or related fields. Minimum 2 years of experience in research. Experience with soybean and corn crops. Experience in evaluating field trials and conducting field experiments. Experience operating agricultural machinery. Valid driver’s license, Class B. Willingness to travel outside the city and occasionally outside the state. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely. Team-oriented mindset and ability to collaborate effectively. Proficiency in computer applications (Microsoft Office suite). Familiarity with technological equipment (GPS, computers, iPads, etc.). Proficiency in English is an advantage.
