**Area Overview**
------------------------
The Production and Operations area employs the largest number of colleagues. It covers the entire operation of a fertilizer manufacturing or blending unit—from raw material handling through to the final product.
**Position Description | Responsibilities**
---------------------------------------------
* Apply Yara's "Best Practices" / TOP'S concepts and ensure safety and process standards;
* Execute the production plan while meeting safety, quality, and process requirements;
* Lead the team by monitoring task execution, providing direction, development, and training;
* Ensure all operational aspects are shared and discussed during shift handover;
* Be responsible for managing your shift, ensuring efficient work aligned with current management system policies;
* Monitor production plant performance and report deviations to all stakeholders;
* Ensure plant cleanliness and organization, maintaining high housekeeping standards;
* Be responsible for issuing, controlling, and closing Work Permits (WP), in accordance with required safety procedures;
* Implement and sustain Lean culture, enabling an environment that encourages employee-driven continuous improvement;
* Ensure compliance with HESQ (Health, Environment, Safety & Quality) procedures and policies for all employees and third parties within your area of responsibility.
**Profile | Education and Knowledge**

* Collaborative mindset, initiative, curiosity, ownership mentality, and respect for diversity;
* Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related fields;
* Experience in direct people management;
* Industrial sector experience;
* Knowledge of Lean tools is considered a plus.

* English language proficiency is considered a plus;
* Availability to work rotating shifts.
