




**Systems \& Infrastructure Management** * Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of data connections, networks, servers, firewalls, and associated hardware and software * Ensure high availability, scalability, security, and performance of ICT systems * Manage cloud solutions, enterprise applications, and digital platforms **Security \& Compliance** * Implement and maintain cybersecurity policies, procedures, and controls * Monitor systems for vulnerabilities and respond to incidents promptly * Ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations e.g. GDPR and LGPD **Risk Management \& Resilience** * Develop, implement, and regularly test disaster recovery and business continuity plans to safeguard operations * Establish and oversee threat detection, incident response, and escalation protocols * Conduct risk assessments to identify potential ICT threats and vulnerabilities, ensuring appropriate mitigation strategies are in place * Build resilience and redundancy into critical systems and infrastructure **Support \& Service Delivery** * Ensure timely and efficient delivery of ICT support services across the organisation * Define, implement, and monitor SLAs to ensure effective ICT service delivery * Provide user training and promote digital literacy across the business **Supplier Management** * Lead and develop ICT, providing technical guidance and training * Manage relationships with external service and technology suppliers * Work with the Commercial Team to negotiate and manage contracts for ICT services and products **Strategy \& Planning** * Develop and implement the organisation’s ICT Business Plan aligned with the EM\&I Group Corporate Business Plan * Research and evaluate emerging technologies and to drive innovation and business value * Develop and manage the annual ICT budget ensuring on time, on scope and on cost delivery enabling cost effective investments and efficient resource allocation **AI Enablement \& Department Support** * Partner with Department Heads to identify, prioritise, and deliver AI use cases that improve productivity, quality and safety * Standardise approve AI tools and integrations, ensure secure\-by\-design architectures and role\-based access to data * Drivee adoption via training, templates, and procedures; embedding AI into daily workflows and procedures where appropriate * Establish AI governance for GDPR/LGPD/NIS2 compliance, model risk management and human\-in\-the\-loop controls * Track value and cost by monitoring usage, spend and KPI’s (hours saved, cycle time, error rates) and report to the CCO, wider LT and Board of Directors as required. **Academic Competencies** * Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred). * Professional certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, CISSP, CCNA, Microsoft Certified, AWS Certified) are an advantage. **Experience Competencies** * Minimum 5–8 years of progressive ICT experience, with at least 3 years managing ICT helpdesk and other suppliers * Working in global organisations * Strong knowledge of ICT infrastructure, networking, enterprise systems, and cybersecurity * Proven experience in project management and digital transformation initiatives * Excellent leadership, communication, and problem\-solving skills * Hands\-on expertise in infrastructure, enterprise systems, networking, and cybersecurity * Ability to align ICT strategies with organizational goals * Excellent organisational and project management skills with the ability to adapt to rapidly changing business priorities * Experience implementing or managing an ISO 27001 Information Security Management System (ISMS)
