Job Summary: The professional will develop and lead database projects, provide Level 2 support for highly complex systems, and administer environments focused on performance and security. Key Highlights: 1. Leadership in database projects with a focus on performance and security. 2. Provision of Level 2 support involving high complexity and autonomy. 3. Technical reference for stability, security, and database best practices. **This position is 100% on-site.** Develops and leads database projects, ensuring documentation and proposing continuous improvements in performance, security, and cost-efficiency. Provides Level 2 support at a high level of complexity, including data modeling, data manipulation, report generation, and execution of advanced scripts. Administers environments by performing installation, upgrades, migrations, backup/recovery, and instance configuration. Monitors and optimizes performance, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery. High autonomy, critical thinking, decision-making capability, and technical leadership are expected, ensuring stability, security, and adherence to best practices. * Develop and implement database-related projects * Prepare documentation; • Propose continuous improvements in performance, security, and cost * Provide Level 2 support for: * + Report generation and maintenance + Data modeling, extraction, importation, and manipulation + SQL statements + Creation and execution of complex scripts + User, permission, role, and object administration + Database instance startup and shutdown parameters + Database version installation, upgrade, and migration + Backup and recovery operations + Database monitoring, performance analysis, and tuning + Disaster recovery **Prerequisites:** * In-depth knowledge of SQL in general * In-depth knowledge of Oracle * In-depth knowledge of Linux * In-depth knowledge of general database architecture * Experience in high-availability environments * Minimum of 3 years of experience in the field * At least 1 year of experience working as a Mid-level professional in the field * Certifications relevant to the field * Intermediate English proficiency **Desirable:** * English fluency **Education:** * Bachelor's degree (in progress or completed) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Networks, Information Security, or related fields.
