This position is intended for professionals who have performed fabrication/assembly activities for platforms and elevators at IESAB. **Main responsibilities:** * Performing welding using Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) and Metal Inert Gas/Metal Active Gas (MIG/MAG) welding; * Adjusting welding equipment; * Carefully storing welding consumables (SMAW electrodes and MIG welding wire); * Cutting using an angle grinder; * Drilling using a bench drill press; * Assembling equipment according to technical instructions provided in the assembly manual and by the engineering team; * And other related duties. **Examples of platform assembly tasks:** * Reading and interpreting technical drawings for platforms and elevators; * Fastening bolts; * Aligning equipment; * Leveling component parts; * Adjusting couplings; * Mounting motors; * Assembling chains; * Assembling screws and rolling-element bearings. **Requirements:** * Ability to solve problems and handle unexpected situations; * Valid Brazilian driver’s license category B for driving to assembly sites; * Organizational skills to maintain order in both the workshop and assembly site; * Willingness to travel to São Paulo/SP and Rio de Janeiro/RJ; * Proficiency in Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) and Metal Inert Gas/Metal Active Gas (MIG/MAG) welding. **Competencies and Preferred Qualifications:** * Completion of training in boiler-making, industrial mechanics, or welding; * Interest in mechanical assembly work; * Organized approach to tool storage and maintenance in the workshop; * Punctuality in starting work to arrive at client sites on time; * Valid Brazilian driver’s license category B to operate the company pickup truck; * Availability to travel to São Paulo (SP) for equipment assembly (trips always begin on Monday and end no later than Friday); * Formal welding training. **Compensation:** * Monthly salary of BRL 2,000.00 (formally registered); * Monthly food basket allowance of BRL 200.00 for punctual employees; * Monthly fuel allowance of BRL 300.00 or transportation voucher; * Monthly meal allowance of BRL 484.00 at an IESAB partner self-service restaurant, or food voucher of BRL 18.00 per working day; * Overtime payment of BRL 300.00 for each equipment assembled during travel; * Annual excellence bonus of BRL 1,000.00 after successfully completing a full year; * Annual additional salary (13th-month salary) of BRL 2,500.00; * Annual vacation pay plus vacation bonus totaling BRL 3,250.00; * Annual attendance bonus of BRL 833.33 (no absences or medical certificates); * Annual Special Unique Bonus (PL) of BRL 525.00. **Benefits:** * Breakfast provided at the company from 7:20 AM to 7:44 AM; * Life insurance policy with Tokio Marine; * Collective holidays during the last two weeks of December. **Application Process:** To apply, please send your resume to **administrativo@iesab.com.br**, including the position you are applying for in the email subject line.
