Located in Contagem/MG, Saquetto serves major clients in steelmaking and mining, as well as industries in energy, aluminum, pulp and paper, cement, and heavy civil construction. * **About the opportunity**: Mechanical Draftsman (CAD Designer / Draftsman) * **Responsibilities**: Develop and detail mechanical technical drawings in 2D and 3D using AutoCAD and SolidWorks, ensuring projects and documentation comply with technical standards, manufacturing requirements, and internal standards; provide engineering support for the development and improvement of industrial equipment, devices, structures, and components. * **Main Responsibilities**: Prepare 2D technical drawings (AutoCAD) and 3D modeling (SolidWorks) for mechanical parts, assemblies, and sub-assemblies. Generate complete technical detailing, including views, sections, dimensions and tolerances, surface roughness, and finish. Develop and update manufacturing and assembly drawings for the production department. Perform revisions and modifications to existing projects, maintaining version history and control. Ensure drawings comply with technical standards (ABNT/ISO), internal standards, and customer requirements. Organize and maintain updated technical files (folders, revisions, naming conventions, backups, etc.). * **Required Qualifications**: Education: Technical degree in Mechanical Engineering or related fields (preferred). Advantage: pursuing Mechanical Engineering degree. * **Technical Knowledge (Mandatory)**: AutoCAD 2D (mandatory) SolidWorks (desirable) Reading and interpretation of mechanical technical drawings Basic metrology Technical drawing standards and tolerances Basic knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes (machining, boiler-making, welding, cutting, bending) * **Experience**: Proven experience in developing and detailing mechanical technical drawings in 2D and 3D using AutoCAD and SolidWorks, supporting engineering in the development and improvement of industrial equipment and components, ensuring compliance with technical standards, internal standards, and manufacturing requirements.
