Job Summary: An SSMA professional responsible for promoting workplace safety, managing risks, investigating accidents, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and corporate SSMA guidelines. Key Highlights: 1. Manage risks and prevent workplace accidents. 2. Conduct accident investigations and implement corrective actions. 3. Ensure compliance with Regulatory Standards and SSMA guidelines. * Promote safe working conditions through accident prevention, risk management, adherence to Regulatory Standards, and corporate SSMA guidelines. * Conduct on-site monitoring, guide teams, support contractor management, and ensure compliance with legal and internal standards, contributing to a safe and healthy work environment. * SSMA Incident Management: Manage, monitor, and record accidents, incidents, deviations, and near-misses in official systems. * Conduct accident investigations in accordance with corporate methodology. * Identify root causes and develop recommendations to eliminate or mitigate risks. * Support managers and contractors in timely and proper reporting. * Monitor KPIs, action plans, and lessons learned. * Disseminate and reinforce the application of the Golden Rules in operational activities. * Conduct safety inspections and behavioral observations focused on critical risks. * Address identified deviations and guide immediate corrections. Integrate Golden Rules into training sessions, Daily Safety Talks (DDS), meetings, and contractor onboarding. * Contractor Management and Kickoff Meetings: Participate in and/or lead SSMA meetings with contractors. * Review and validate mandatory documentation; * Present operational requirements, critical risks, and mandatory controls. * Monitor SSMA performance throughout contract execution. * Support inspections, audits, and leadership alignment activities. * PPE Simplification and Management: Assess risks and support standardization and simplification of the PPE portfolio. * Guide employees and contractors on correct use, maintenance, and replacement of PPE. * Participate in testing and technical evaluation of new equipment. Record and address PPE-related non-conformities. * Emergency Drills: Participate in planning, preparation, and execution of emergency drills. Monitor team performance during response to simulated scenarios. * Prepare drill reports, document improvement opportunities, and track follow-up actions. * Routine SSMA Activities: Conduct safety inspections and field verifications as per schedule. * Monitor critical activities and Work Permits. Deliver training, Daily Safety Talks (DDS), and safety onboarding. * Assist with internal and external audits. * Ensure compliance with applicable Regulatory Standards. * Support initiatives fostering safety culture and safe behavior.
