Work on monitoring, incident response, and best practices **Job Description:** We are seeking a **Junior Cybersecurity Analyst** to support daily information security operations (SecOps), contributing to the protection of the company’s digital assets and strengthening the security culture. This position is ideal for individuals at the beginning of their career in Information Security who wish to develop technical and operational expertise, working on alert monitoring, initial incident response support, and implementation of security best practices, under supervision from the senior team. ### **Main Responsibilities:** * Monitor security alerts and events using tools such as SIEM, XDR, and EDR * Support initial analysis and response to security incidents * Assist in managing and tracking identified vulnerabilities * Contribute to access control routines (IAM), provisioning, and permission reviews * Support security awareness initiatives and best practices for employees * Collaborate with technical teams on implementation and monitoring of security controls * Document incidents, analyses, and procedures, ensuring traceability of actions. ### **Requirements:** * Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, ports, firewalls, and VPNs) * Familiarity with vulnerability management and scanning tools (e.g., Nessus, OpenVAS) * Basic knowledge of Windows Server and Linux administration (command line) * Understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM), including MFA * Basic knowledge of cloud security (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) * Familiarity with frameworks and standards such as NIST and LGPD * Understanding of log monitoring and analysis. ### **Preferred Qualifications:** * Knowledge or experience with ISO 27001 and SOC 2 * Certifications such as CompTIA Security\+, Microsoft SC\-900, or AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner **Work Location:** Hybrid model – Office in Nova Lima – MG **Learn more about W1:** w1\.com.br/w1\-consultoria **Build your career with the W1 Team!** **Location****Employment Type****Work Model** Nova Lima, MG, BR PJ Contractor Hybrid
