Quality Technician

Description

**Main Responsibilities:** * Monitors and controls material quality during production and supply, ensuring compliance with established standards; * Performs verification of tests: Hilf / Grain Size Analysis / Soil Compaction / True Density of Grains / Liquid and Plastic Limits / California Bearing Ratio (CBR) / Swell / Slump, and other soil and concrete tests; * Plans ongoing and upcoming activities; * Communicates test results to suppliers and collaborates in resolving material quality-related issues; * Evaluates and monitors the quality of materials supplied by vendors, performing tests and inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications; * May train and guide new technicians and team members in testing and quality control practices; * Develops and implements procedures and methodologies for testing and quality control, ensuring consistency and accuracy; * Ensures all tests and procedures comply with local and national technical standards and regulations, such as ASTM, ABNT, or other applicable standards; * Follows laboratory and field safety procedures to ensure personal safety and data integrity; * Maintains detailed records of equipment maintenance and calibration to ensure compliance with standards and regulations; * Identifies quality deviations and works to correct issues, collaborating with suppliers and project teams to implement solutions; * Consults updates to technical standards related to laboratory activities; * Contributes to the development and continuous improvement of the Integrated Management System (IMS); * Ensures compliance with the Integrated Management System policies, the company’s Code of Ethics, and core values. **Requirements:** --------------- Technical or undergraduate degree in a relevant field; Experience in geotechnical testing and management processes; Proficiency in control and management tools and software; Intermediate to advanced level Microsoft Office; Valid Class B driver's license; Desirable: 3 years of experience. **Benefits:** * UNIMED Health Insurance Plan; * Dental Insurance Plan; * Company-provided transportation; * Life insurance; * Meal allowance; * Basic food basket; * Discounts at universities; * Discounts at professional training institutions; * Discounts at English language schools; * Totalpass; * SESC partnership; * Quality-of-life program.
