




Job Summary: The professional will perform inspection, maintenance, and testing of transformers, including diagnostics, report preparation, and contributing to workplace safety. Key Highlights: 1. Experience in maintenance (electrical/mechanical) of electrical machines. 2. Ability to read electrical diagrams and interpret technical standards. 3. Conducting low- and high-voltage tests on transformers. Description: Technical course in Electrotechnology or related fields. Desired Knowledge: * Electrical machines; * Maintenance (Electrical / Mechanical); * Ability to read electrical diagrams. * Visually inspect the transformer to assess its apparent condition and/or status; * Interpret and comply with current technical standards; * Perform low- and high-voltage tests: ohmic resistance / insulation resistance / transformation ratio, among others; * Critically analyze test results and take appropriate actions (e.g., request equipment opening, removal and inspection of the tap changer, and repeat tests if necessary); * Diagnose causes of transformer failures and/or incidents; * Verify coil connections; * Prepare test reports; * Conduct electrical expert assessments and recommend procedures; * Perform intermediate tests; * Execute test batteries across multiple process stages, as well as final equipment tests; * Perform commissioning tests for transformers in the field; * Contribute to eliminating potential technical issues; * Support risk assessments to ensure safe, accident-free work systems. * Use process instructions, calibrated instruments, and standardized tools for testing activities; * Instruct or train junior colleagues. * Perform quality inspections of transformers undergoing maintenance; 2512120202501916377
