Job Summary:
A professional responsible for preparing and performing vulcanization activities on conveyor belts, ensuring process quality and workplace safety.
Key Highlights:
1. Conducts tool inventory and prepares the work area.
2. Develops a Preliminary Risk Analysis (PRA) and ensures organization and safety in the work environment.
3. Performs splice vulcanization and inspects process quality.
**DESCRIPTION:**
· Conduct inventory of all tools, PPE, materials, and documents required to perform tasks.
· Prepare the work area, verifying requirements for cranes, scaffolding, cleaning, power supply points, and conducting tests with the vulcanizing press.
· Develop a Preliminary Risk Analysis (PRA) and ensure proper organization of materials and tools.
· Inspect and document workplace safety conditions, including equipment lockout and PPE verification.
· Prepare and apply rubber sheets according to specifications, ensuring correct positioning, cement application, and checking for air bubbles between layers.
· Perform vulcanization of conveyor belt splices, ensuring rubber layers are correctly applied.
· Inspect process quality and correct defects during splice execution.
· Strictly follow established procedures and protocols to ensure service quality and workplace safety.
· Perform checklists on all tools and equipment before each task.
· Execute equipment lockout per procedure and ensure only trained personnel perform this task.
· Monitor preventive maintenance of equipment, such as the vulcanizing press and other tools required for the process.
**Academic Qualification:** Completed elementary education
**Experience:** Experience in vulcanization is desirable.
Compensation: R$4.000,00 - R$4.100,00 per month
