Contribute to the continuous improvement of planning processes Job Description Work on physical\-financial planning and control of geotechnical and industrial engineering projects, ensuring alignment among scope, schedule, budget, and resources through application of best practices in planning and project management. Support planning coordination in generating strategic information for decision-making, contributing to increased predictability, risk mitigation, and achievement of project objectives. Key Responsibilities * Report to the Planning and Projects Coordinator or Manager. * Develop, maintain, and control project schedules using planning tools. * Periodically update schedules jointly with engineering teams, consolidating physical progress data and execution forecasts. * Prepare, monitor, and analyze physical progress curves, S-curves, resource histograms, and other performance indicators. * Control physical and financial progress of projects, performing comparative analyses between budgeted and actual values. * Monitor productivity, resource allocation, and team utilization, supporting operational capacity planning. * Support integration among scope, schedule, costs, procurement, and engineering disciplines, ensuring consistency of planning information. * Monitor performance of design firms, contractors, and other suppliers involved in project execution. * Identify deviations from plans, analyze impacts, and propose corrective actions and recovery plans. * Conduct risk analyses, support change management, and contribute to implementation of mitigation strategies. * Develop and track performance indicators (KPIs), providing reliable information to support decision-making. * Prepare management reports, dashboards, and executive presentations on project performance. * Participate in progress review meetings, presenting project status, risks, deviations, and proposed actions. * Facilitate communication among engineering, planning, procurement, contractors, and other stakeholders. * Ensure traceability of information, document control, and recording of lessons learned throughout the project lifecycle. * Support project closure, ensuring consolidation of planning information and delivery of final documentation per established procedures. * Contribute to standardization, continuous improvement, and development of planning and project control processes. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Engineering. (Postgraduate degree in Project Planning is a plus). * Knowledge of project planning and control in mining areas. * Proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office. * Experience in planning and control of industrial construction projects.
