Machining Supervisor

Description

Job Summary: Lead machining activities, control production, ensure quality and efficiency, and operate machines for component manufacturing. Key Highlights: 1. Leadership in machining and component transformation activities 2. Production, quality, safety, and supply control 3. Machining machine/tool planning and operation · Lead machining activities in component and metal transformation; · Read and interpret drawings; · Control production volume, supplies, safety, and quality; · Monitor labor efficiency; · Analyze daily reports to identify deviations from standards and implement corrective actions, ensuring achievement of targets, efficiencies, and manufacturing volumes; · Adjust and operate, as necessary, machining machines/tools for metal and composite components according to quality standards. · Interpret drawings, sketches, models, specifications, and other information to plan required operations; · Operate conventional/CNC lathes and rotary saws for steel cutting during activities, and occasionally use drills; · Promote continuous improvement by establishing productivity and quality targets; · Collaborate with the HR department on hiring and performance evaluation processes; · Perform welding sporadically; · Use company vehicle for external visits for evaluations, technical surveys, and delivery/pickup of components at service providers for finishing or complementary machining processes. · Create, update, and periodically review production standard operating procedures (SOPs).
