We are seeking a **Geologist (Junior, Mid-Level or Senior)** in the Engineering field who will be responsible for assessing and mitigating geotechnical risks, conducting stability studies, monitoring infrastructure construction projects, and providing technical support on Geotechnical-related projects. * **Location:** Buritis \| Belo Horizonte \- MG * **Workload:** 40 hours per week * **Work Model:** 100% on-site Responsibilities * Conduct geotechnical and geological studies for Engineering projects. * Perform and lead geomechanical studies and rock mass stability assessments. * Prepare technical reports and geological expert opinions. * Develop and interpret geotechnical maps and geological models. * Monitor and evaluate geological conditions at construction sites, including dams, tunnels, roads, and foundations. * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project safety and technical feasibility. Minimum Requirements * Bachelor’s degree in **Geology or Geological Engineering**. * Active registration with **CREA** or equivalent. * Skills in data analysis and interpretation of laboratory and field tests. * Availability for travel and fieldwork. Desired Knowledge and Advantages * **Previous experience** in Engineering Geology or Geotechnics (will be evaluated according to the position level \- Junior, Mid-Level or Senior). * Knowledge of geotechnical software (e.g.: AutoCAD Civil 3D, GeoStudio, Rocscience). * Postgraduate degree in Geotechnics, Soil Mechanics, or related fields. * Experience with large-scale projects such as mining dams, tunnels, and slope stability. * Fluency in technical English. * Postgraduate education is an advantage; required for higher-level positions.
