Teamwork and results-oriented approach **Job Description:** We are seeking a **Mechanical Technician** to provide maintenance services at the **Hospital das Clínicas da UFMG**, located in Belo Horizonte. The professional will be responsible for executing, supervising, and maintaining building mechanical systems—including air conditioning, ventilation, exhaust, hydraulic systems, and auxiliary equipment—ensuring proper functionality and technical compliance of installations. **Responsibilities:** * Install, inspect, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on air conditioning, ventilation, and exhaust systems; * Supervise mechanical assembly of piping, supports, and equipment; * Conduct measurements, adjustments, and operational testing of mechanical equipment and systems; * Read and interpret engineering drawings, diagrams, and technical specifications; * Support the responsible engineer in preparing reports and quality control of installations; * Ensure compliance with applicable occupational health and safety and environmental regulations. **Requirements:** * Completed technical education in **Mechanics** or **Refrigeration and Air Conditioning**; * Active registration with the **CREA**; * Proven experience in construction projects or building installations (preferably in healthcare facilities); * Knowledge of reading mechanical and hydraulic project drawings; * Availability for on-site work in Belo Horizonte/MG. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Experience with HVAC systems (central air conditioning, chillers, ductwork, and exhaust fans); * Up-to-date certifications in NR-10, NR-18, and NR-35; * Strong teamwork skills and results-oriented mindset.
