Join us!** **Responsibilities and Tasks of the Role** * Manage and lead the Quality function at the Contagem site, directly addressing critical topics within the manufacturing supply chain; * Conduct interactions with customers and strategic stakeholders, ensuring effective responses to quality issues and continuous improvement initiatives; * Implement and lead continuous improvement programs, focusing on process excellence and reduction of Cost of Poor Quality; * Ensure readiness for new product/process launches, factory startups, and production transfers; * Monitor, consolidate, and report supplier and manufacturing quality metrics; * Ensure compliance of the Quality Management System (QMS) with internal, customer, and regulatory requirements; * Lead internal audits and ensure adherence to quality plans and applicable requirements; * Collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and suppliers to guarantee fulfillment of product requirements; * Develop, lead, and train the team, aligning goals, work plans, and the company’s strategic objectives. **Mandatory Requirements** * Completed undergraduate degree (preferably in Engineering); * Solid leadership experience in Quality, Operations, Manufacturing, or Engineering; * Experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment; * Fluent English; * Strong oral and written communication skills; * Leadership capability and experience managing cross-functional teams. **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience in the automotive or auto parts industry; * Experience with PPAP or similar part qualification processes; * ISO 9001 Internal Auditor certification. * Experience in manufacturing, remanufacturing, or services in the railway sector (locomotives, railcars, transit); * Master’s degree in Engineering; * Strong customer orientation and influencing ability; * Ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously and balance business and customer demands.
